Prescription Drug Disposal Bin

The Norman County Sheriff's Office has a Prescription Drug Disposal Bin located in the Lobby of the Norman County Sheriff's Office. We accept prescription medications 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Please note the following rules/exceptions:

Liquid medications - If you have liquid medications, you may pour them into coffee grounds or cat litter to dry them out, then bring in the dried product.
Needles - We DO NOT accept any used or unused needles of any type.
Thermometers - We DO NOT accept any thermometers.
Illegal narcotics - We will accept illegal drugs, but they cannot be placed into the Prescription Drug Disposal Bin due to State of MN disposal regulations.
