Norman County

The purpose of the County Extension Committee is to provide feedback and perspective to Extension by serving as the eyes and ears of Extension’s diverse clientele in the county.
The committee is composed of two county commissioners, the county auditor and six county citizens who bring expertise to strengthen our connections and grow our programs in the county.  Some counties, including Norman, also include youth members.  New members are appointed by the county board and usually serve two three-year terms.

More than 1,000 engaged Minnesotans serve on 87 County Extension Committees, regional and program advisory committees, and Extension's Statewide Citizen's Advisory Committee.
