Volunteers

Minnesota Responds

Minnesota Responds is the Medical Reserve Corps, a volunteer organization, that utilizes the skills and abilities of all individuals. Public Health and Emergency Management are always in need of volunteers to serve when there are events that impact the health, safety, and wellness of our communities. Volunteers are needed to perform many different roles during an emergency, some of which a professional license is required but many jobs involve no specific healthcare training.

Who Can Volunteer?

Norman and Mahnomen County volunteers have a wide variety of skill sets. Volunteers range from healthcare professionals, to retirees, and non-medically trained individuals. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

Training Requirements

Any training needed will be provided by Public Health, as necessary, depending on the role the volunteer holds.
